volk was founded by Eleni Papadimitriou in Amsterdam in 2022 and is now based in Athens.
Her work explores how architecture can expand the capacity of living spaces as places of sociality, economic prosperity, materiality and enjoyment.
Eleni proposes a methodology of critical and gentle interventions, attuned to both real-world constraints and design sensibilities.
Over the years, Eleni has lived, studied, and worked across Europe - from Thessaloniki and Istanbul to Portsmouth and Birmingham, from Athens and Ivrea to Milan and Amsterdam.
She has collaborated with architects, artists, and istitutions such as DZA Architects, Atelier Bow-Wow, Harry Gugger, Sandberg Instituut, Michail Marmarinos, the Embodied Knowledge Bureau, RMJM, 8-11, and Interaction Design Institute Ivrea.
